St Mary's, Marlborough is situated in the town centre at the east end of the High Street.  Most of our mission has a two-fold strategy; to deepen and enrich our own worshipping life and also to find creative ways of making connections with the local community to both introduce the Christian story and deepen engagement with it. The church is open every day from 7.30am to 5.00pm.

We invite you to worship with us at the following services:

First Sunday of the month:

  8.00 am Holy Communion
10.00 am All Age Worship

Other Sundays:
  8.00 am Holy Communion
10.00 am Parish Communion
  5.30 pm Informal Worship

Wednesdays
  8.00 am Morning Prayer
10.30 am Holy Communion

There is a creche available at all 10.00 am Parish Communion services in the Tower Room - a room from which services can be seen and heard.

The Tower Room is not staffed during All Age Worship services, but it is available for use by parents. We also have a carpeted quiet play area in the main church which is available for children.

The Sunday School for children aged 3+, meets in the Church Hall next to the church when there is Parish Communion, except in school holidays.

INTRODUCTION

St George's Preshute is a small country church adjacent to Marlborough College and near the village of Manton with the river Kennet running just behind the church.  There is at least one service each Sunday and our congregation is drawn from much of the local area including the western side of Marlborough.  Children are welcome to all of our services and we have a children's corner to keep them entertained.

Our style is liturgical but relaxed and friendly, and more 'low church'.
